Ima Jean Worrell, 67, of Hillsville, VA passed away on Saturday, January 02, 2010 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter Jefferson & Myrtle Clara Worrell; brother Joe Worrell; two sisters Ella Ruth Melton and Elsie Gardner. She is survived by three brothers & sister-in-law Elton (Hap) Worrell of Austinville, Charles (Bud) & Wilma Worrell of Woodlawn, and Jim Worrell of Roanoke; three sisters Christine W. Huff of Hillsville, Lois Corbett of Pennsylvania, and Judy Williams of Pennsylvania; brother-in-law Howard L. Melton from Hillsville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at 3:00 PM at the Coulson Church of the Brethren with Pastor Russell Payne officiating. Burial will follow in the Dalton Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Church on Sunday, January 3, 2010 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Coulson Church of the Brethren building fund, 4127 Coulson Church Road, Hillsville, VA 24343. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
