Ilene Smythers Harmon, 92, of Hillsville passed away on May 30, 2008. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Kathy & Douglas Fields of Woodlawn, Brenda & George Rohe of Charlotte, NC, and Nancy H. Petersen of Knoxville, TN; brother and sister-in-law Dyer & Madalene Smythers of Woodlawn; sister-in-law Goldie Harmon of Woodlawn; granddaughters and spouses Anna Cormier of Knoxville, TN, Allison & Lee Waters of Bossier, LA, Sara & Alwyn Staley of Knoxville, TN, Laura & David Moody of Charlotte, NC; and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be on Monday, June 2, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Vaughan Guynn McGrady Chapel. Burial will follow in the Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 2, 2008 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
