Ila Marie Marshall, 90 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Hillsville Health and Rehab. Mrs. Marshall was born in Carroll County to the late Garnett Z. and Goldie Melton Lineberry. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Marshall and a son, Leonard Marshall.

Survivors include her children, James Maynard Marshall, Douglas Marshall and Juanita, and Clayton Marshall; siblings, Joe Lineberry and Wanda, Celine Bolen, Florida Mae Lundy, and Faye Sullivan; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

A graveside service with burial will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Woodlawn Cemetery at 2:30 PM with Elder Ronald Bowman officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery on Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the graveside service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
