Howard W. Brady, 97 of Hillsville, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows. Mr. Brady was born in Carroll County to the late Thomas and Fanny Quesenberry Brady.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Mae Marshall Brady of the home; children, Pamela Mitchell of Honaker, Howard Brady, Jr., Robert Brady, and Wayne Brady all of Williamsburg and Fred Brady of Hillsville; sister, Lila Branscome of Woodbridge; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Rome Missionary Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Rev. Terry McMillian officiating. Burial will follow in the Rome Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Saturday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rome Missionary Church. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
