Herman Roby H.R. Manning, 84 of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2011 at the home of his son. Mr. Manning was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Roby and Ida Boaz Manning. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife Billie Manning. He is survived by his sons Warren Manning and special friend Libby Lineberry of Woodlawn, Mike Manning and wife Tina of Woodlawn, and Doug Ogle and wife Kay of Saltville; seven grandchildren Tonda Cupp, Trey Manning, Cameron Manning, Erich Ogle, India Manning, Shawn Manning and Phil Ogle; and six great grandchildren Zeth Manning, Zarah Manning, Noah Manning, Isaiah Cupp, Ingrid Cupp and Ericha Ogle.

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Monta Vista Memory Gardens with Rev. Neil Eidson officiating. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Victory Way Baptist Church Youth P.O. Box 248, Hillsville, VA 24343.
