Henry Heath Goad, 94 of Hillsville, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows. Mr. Goad was born in Carroll County to the late Cosley Hill Goad & Ella Maude Horton Goad. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Thelma Arizona Goad. He is survived by his daughter & son-in-law Darlene & Kelly Henley of Hillsville; sons & daughters-in-law Foy & Almalee Goad of Dallas, NC, Freddie & Ernestine Goad, Sanford & Mary Goad, Junior Heath & Carol B. Goad, and Darrell & Denise Goad all of Hillsville; eight grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2009 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Wendell Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Isaac Banks Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 18, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
