Helen Reece Edwards, 81, of Austinville, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2012 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Edwards is survived by her husband Elmer A. Edwards of the home; daughters and son-in-law Sharon Shaffer of Hillsville and Renee and Mark Sexton of South Boston; brothers and sisters-in-law Clifton and Maxine Reece of North Jefferson, NC, Doug Reece of Stuart, Ken and Claralynn Reece of Dugspur, and Keith Reece of South Carolina; and three grandchildren and spouse April Shaffer and Greg Dycus of Hillsville, Jason Shaffer of Hillsville, and Annalise Sexton of South Boston. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Russell Payne and Rev. Alan Page officiating. Burial will follow in the Beasley Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
