Helen W. Notchie, 92 of Woodlawn, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Waddell Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Notchie was born in Carroll County, VA to the late Sanders and Sadie Cochran Wyrick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Patsy Patrick Notchie; daughter, Sharon Cox; and siblings, Eva Hill, Pete Wyrick, Nancy Hicks, and George Wyrick.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Sandy Jones, Beth Inman, and Shannon Cox; several great-grandchildren; and special nieces, Simone Hicks and Achia Bolt.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev. Robert Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Cochran Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 16, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
