Helen Myers, 89 of Austinville, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Brash was born in Carroll County to the late Ed & Emma Myers. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her daughter Locky Radtke; great grandson Eric Ogle; five brothers; and two sisters. Survivors include two sisters Mildred White of Mount Airy and Maggie White of Austinville; grandchildren and spouse Chris Radtke, Lisa Radtke, and Tanya and Scott Ogle all of Austinville; great grandchildren and spouses Brandi Radtke, Alesia and Robert Dalton, Joey and Tiffany Ogle; Justin Caudill, Faith Ogle, and Xavier Tyree Brown; and great-great granddaughter Lillian Ogle.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Olen Alexander and Rev. Gilbert Myers officiating. Burial will follow in the Myers-Ogle Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
