Helen Branscome Largen, 82 of Laurel Fork, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2006 at her residence. Mrs. Largen is survived by her husband, Marshall Largen of the home; daughters & sons-in-law Barbara & Robert Leonard of Galax and Rebecca & Ron Adams of Hillsville; sons John B. (Benny) Largen of Laurel Fork and Roy (Wil) Largen of Bethania, NC; sister Alverta Bowen of Hillsville; grandchildren Alex Leonard, Anthony Leonard, David Adams, and Sarah Adams, step grandson Mark Adams and step great grandson Jacob Carter Adams.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 15, 2006 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Clarence Marshall and the Rev. Steve Stephenson officiating. Burial will follow in the Largen Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home.
