Helen T. Dalton, 88, of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Waddell Nursing Home. Mrs. Dalton was born in Carroll County to the late Frank and Bertha Thomas. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Welcher Dalton and sons, Ronnie Dalton and Leon Dalton.

Survivors include her daughter, Lois Cassell of Hillsville; son and daughter-in-law, Wesley and Lisa Dalton of Hillsville; sister, Kathleen Seay of Richmond; brother, Alvin Thomas of Hillsville; grandchildren, Jennifer Dalton, Jacob Dalton, Shane Dalton, Valerie Lowe, Michael Lowe, Kendell Dalton, Ronnie Lee Dalton, Charlene Isom, Mary Sain, and Melanie Sain; and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jeff Pickett officiating. Burial will follow in the Branscome Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
