Helen Lee Cockram, 85 of Meadows of Dan, passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021. Mrs. Cockram was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Elmer and Tillie Light Bowman.

Survivors include her husband, Marvin G. Cockram; son and daughter-in-law, Darrell and Susan Cockram; grandchildren and spouses, Amy and Brian Combs, Jake and Kelsey Cockram, and Kayla and Kenny Crowder; and great-grandchildren, Mason Crowder, Mailyn Crowder, Ada Combs, Emma Combs, and Marshall Cockram.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Stone Mountain Baptist Church at 1:00 PM with Rev. Roland McCraw and Pastor Greg Lamb officiating. Burial will follow in Reed Island Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 12:00 until 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 355 Rio Road West, Suite 102 Charlottesville, VA 22901. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
