Hazel Bolt Thomas, 67 of Laurel Fork, passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her husband Benton C. Thomas. She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law Kenneth & Marisol Thomas of Laurel Fork; two grandsons Samuel Thomas and Israel Thomas; one step granddaughter Sara Thomas; sisters & brothers-in-law Lovelyn Carmichael of Lewes, DE, Audrey Fay & Wallace Wilkerson of Woodlawn, Helen & Roger Talbot of Asheville, NC, and Nelda & James Payne of New River, VA; brother Clinton Bolt of Port Orange, FL; one special brother-in-law & spouse Sammy & Lois Thomas; special nephews Travis & Steven Thomas; close and dear friend David Dalton; and a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at Liberty Bible Church at 11:00 AM with Pastor Harold Fenstermaker officiating. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow in the Laurel Fork Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Tuesday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
