Mrs. Hazel G. Montgomery, 95, of Hillsville, Virginia, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2013 at Select Specialty Hospital in Winston Salem, NC. Mrs. Montgomery was the daughter of the late Montague & California G. Goad. Mrs. Montgomery was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Montgomery. She is survived by several nieces & nephews, brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Joseph ( Skeebo) & Edith Montgomery, Hillsville, Archie & June Montgomery, Tallahassee, FL, Henrietta Ogle, Hillsville, Trudy Shockley, York, PA. The funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, July 7, 2013, at 1:00PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor David Bays officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Memory Gardens in Galax. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 7, 2013 from twelve until service time. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady is serving the family of Mrs. Montgomery.
