Hazel Marie Brown, 80 of Galax, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Waddell Nursing and Rehab. Mrs. Brown was born in Grayson County, Virginia to the late Elmer Glenn Hensdell, Sr. and Mary Burnette Hensdell. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Larry Brown.

Survivors include her sons, Jeffrey Banks (Dee), Jackson Banks (Wilma), Joseph Brown, and Jason Brown; grandchildren, Alicia Brown and Jonathan Brown (Kyla); and great-grandchildren, Kaven Brown and Kristopher Brown.

There will be a memorial service at a later date. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady is assisting the family.
