Hattie Goad, 76, of Hillsville, passed away Friday, December 8, 2006 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Goad was preceded in death by her husband Wilton Goad and son Ronnie Goad. She is survived by her granddaughter Stephanie Goad of Mt. Airy, NC; sisters Mattie Goad of Hillsville, Edith Smythers of Hillsville, Elsa Hodges of TN and Geneva Goad of Galax; brothers Dennis Goad of Hillsville and Delmar Goad of Hillsville and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services with burial following will be held on Monday, December 11, 2006 at Gardner Memorial Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. Rev. Norman Goad will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel prior to the graveside service.
