Hassie Turman Moore, 94 of Dugspur, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Hillsville Health and Rehab. Mrs. Moore was born in Floyd County to the late Troy and Maudie Turman. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ferlin Hugh Moore; son, Douglas Moore; brothers, Eldridge (Chuck) Turman and Odell Turman; and sister, Doris T. Bowling.

Survivors include her sons, Ryland D. Moore (Alice), E. Duane Moore (Joy), and Randell Gene Moore (Susan); daughter-in-law, Linda G. Moore; siblings, H. Leon Turman "Peanut", Beulah A. Hill, and Gayla Thompson (Leonard); eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Kermitt Quesenberry Cemetery with Pastor Brent Carrick officiating. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
