Hassie B. Jackson, 94 of Laurel Fork, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 in Laurel Fork. She was preceded in death by her parents Toby & Mary Branscome; husband O. Curtis Jackson; daughter & son-in-law Jean & J. Wayne Bowman; and sister Grace Smith. Mrs. Jackson is survived by two grandchildren & spouse Sarah & Scotty Allen of Laurel Fork and Jennifer Bowman of Atlanta, GA; great grandchild Stephen Allen; and sisters Louise DeHaven of Fancy Gap and Edith Alderman of Hillsville.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Gladesboro Lutheran Church with Pastor Duane Steele officiating. Burial will follow in the Gladesboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Friday, September 19, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
