Haskell Robert Lawson, 89, of Austinville passed away on Friday, August 22, 2014 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife Gertrude H. Lawson; wife, Charlotte Marie Lawson; son, Dennis Ray Lawson; parents, John and Mattie Lawson; brothers, Buford and Clayron Lawson. Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-laws, Charles James Sharp and Teresa of Woodlawn, Robert Lee Lawson of Austinville, Edward Wayne Lawson and Angela of Galax, and Timothy Allen Lawson and Marsha of Austinville; Daughters and son-in-law, Lora Ann and Ed Terry, and Olivia Mae Lineberry (Libby) and special friend Warren; 16 grandchildren and spouses, Keisha and Steven Turner, Kara and BJ Hash, Heather Lawson, Eli Lawson, Casey Lawson, Cody and Jessica Vaughn, Candace Vaughn, Hannah Terry, Zachary and Ashlen Lawson, Jacob Lawson, Tanner Lineberry, Skyler Lawson, Cassidy Lawson, John Dalton Lawson, Alexis Lawson, and Savannah and Travis Cox; 8 great grandchildren, Laken Robinson, Seth Robinson, Kaleb Brown, Blake Brown, Nevaeh Peacock, Brayden Lawson, Teague Vaughn, and Jake Cox; sister, Mina Sue Lawson; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Duel (Doc) Lawson and Nancy, Owen Lawson and Dorothy, and Junior Lawson and Dorothy Lee. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at 4:30 PM at Pleasant View Holiness Church with Pastor Ricky Alexander and Rev. Billy Dean officiating. Burial will follow in Pickett Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday, August 24, 2014 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
