Harwedia Richardson, 72 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2010 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mrs. Richardson is survived by her husband Robert G. Richardson of the home; children & spouses Richard Wayne & Teresa Richardson of Hillsville, Randy Lee Richardson of Fancy Gap, Robert & Roxane Richardson of Hillsville, Rene & Terry Staple of Willis, and Michael Ray Richardson of Fancy Gap; twelve grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Wendell Horton and Rev. Eugene Murphy officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
