Harry Lincoln Bise, 78, of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014. Mr. Bise was born in Wythe County to the late Haynes and Mary Sisk Bise. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Rose Shafftner and Ina Haga; and brothers, George June Bise, killed in WWII, Charles "Bud" Bise, and Henry "Bee Bee" Bise. Survivors include his wife, Lucille M. Bise of the home; step children and spouses, Steven Marshall, Ronald and Liza Marshall, Freddie and Marion Marshall, Cynthia and Rickie Newman, and Michael and Billie Marshall all of Hillsville; sisters, Dora Mabe of Wytheville and Louise Brewer of Salem; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Elsie Turner, Thomas Shockley, and Lillian and Olen Alexander; special friend, June Murphy; eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 10:30 AM with Pastor Jeff Pickett officiating. Burial will be in the Shockley Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 19, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made the the Hillsville Pentecostal Holiness Church Youth Group P.O. Box 534, Hillsville, VA 24343. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
