Harrietta Jones, 74 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.  She was born January 29, 1949 in Wilco, West Virginia to the late Harry S. Dickerson and Fame D. Johnson.  Harrietta is preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Eugene Dickerson and son, Oliver Paul Jones.

Harrietta is survived by her two sisters, Mary F. Chalkley and Nevada J. Martin, her two sons, Thomas (Jamie) Johnson and John (Matt) Jones; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a special aunt and uncle, Dolly and Bill Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Kirby and Samira Hicks and Shannon Shupe for their encouraging words and help over the past several months.  Also, we want to thank Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel for their care in our time of grief and for all who called and visited the past couple of weeks.
