Harold M. Hill, 88 of Woodlawn, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center in Galax. Mr. Hill was born in Carroll County to the late John P. and Ida Ioa Stoneman Hill. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Grant Hill; and sister, Nona Spencer.

Survivors include his wife, Charlene Hill; daughter, Harlene Atkins (Clark); grandchildren, Jill Jackson (Ben), and Justin Atkins (Maranda); special family members, Melissa Marion (Wade), Brooke Phillips (Ian), and Hope Hancock (Travis); and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Angie Lineberry and Rev. Theron Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Flowers are appreciated; however, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice 1477 Carrollton Pike, Hillsville, VA 24343. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
