Harold F. Burnette 70, of Hillsville, VA passed away on Friday, June 11, 2010 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence E. and Alverta Branscome Bowen.

Mr. Burnette is survived by his wife Virginia M. Burnette of the home; daughters & sons-in-laws Debbie & Ralph Hiatt of Mt. Airy, NC and Donna & John Kelly of Greensboro, NC; sister Lorene Newcity of Hillsville; brothers & sisters-in-law Bill & Joyce Burnette and Jimmy & Linda Burnette of Hillsville; step-children Rodney Sawyers, Gregory Sawyers and Donna Williams; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Russell Payne officiating. Burial will follow in the Semones Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, June 13, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. until time of the service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
