Harley Lee Harris, 85, of Hillsville passed away on May 10, 2008 in Wytheville, VA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Lewis Dalton Harris, his parents John and Martha Shockley Harris, and step-son James Dalton. He is survived by step-daughter and son-in-law Carolyn Dalton & Ellis Hundley of Wytheville; step-sons and daughters-in-law Odell & Patricia Dalton of Hillsville, and Kenny & Brenda Dalton of Willis, VA.; sister Velda Utt of Fancy Gap, VA; step-grandchildren; step-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be on Monday, May 12, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Vaughan Guynn McGrady Chapel, with Pastor S. G. Bolt officiating. Burial will follow in the Branscome Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Military Rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115.
