Harley J. Bryant, 87, passed away at his home on Friday, December 1, 2023. Mr. Bryant was born May 14, 1936 in Carroll County to the late Harvey Jackson and Ellie Celestie Upchurch Bryant.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Larry Bryant and siblings: Carlos Bryant, Arlos Bryant, Helen McCraw and Arwood Hill.

He is survived by his wife, Esther Semones Bryant; daughter and son-in-law Angela Clapp and Wallace; son Gary Brant; daughter-in-law Dr. Denise Bryant and two grandchildren Caroline Bryant and Cameron Bryant.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel Pastors Gary Horton and Rick Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Semones Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 until service time at the funeral home. Flowers are appreciated; however in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Semones Cemetery or Mountain Plains United Methodist Church.
