Guyda M. Hill, 96 of Cana, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at her home. She was born in Virginia to the late Michael Jessie & Rozina Burcham Easter. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Winton Hill. She is survived by son & daughter-in-law John J. & Lynda Martin of Cana; daughter Nancy E. Hill of Fancy Gap; brothers James Garnie Easter of Woodlawn, and J.C. Easter of Hillsville; grandchildren & spouses Sheila & Timmy Hall, Jefferson & Brenda Martin and Christopher & Heidi Winton-Stahle; two step granddaughters & spouse Mary & Rodney Swedberg and Stephani Moir; and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Scott Robertson-Gouge officiating. Burial will follow in the Hill Cemetery in Fancy Gap. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday morning beginning at 10:00 AM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
