Guida Marshall Branscome, 89 of Hillsville passed away on Monday, February 9, 2009 at Trinity Mission. Mrs. Branscome was the daughter of the Leander Jackson & Anna Belle Kemp Marshall. Mrs. Branscome was preceded in by her husband, Rush Branscome. She is survived by a son, Jerry Wayne Branscome, Hillsville; two sisters-in-law, Laura Branscome, Hillsville; Irmyl Branscome, Indian Valley; several nieces & nephews also survive.

Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 2:00 PM, with Dr. Lawrence Childs officiating. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 11, 2009, 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Monta Vista Memory Gardens. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
