Gregory Scott Turman, 54 of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022. Mr. Turman was born in Radford, Virginia on December 18, 1967.

Greg was a founding member of the Carroll Cruisers, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of classics cars from the past. He enjoyed participating in many car shows and exhibitions throughout the community.

He is survived by his parents, Vivian and Joyce Fleming Turman; sister, Amy Whitlow and Chris; girlfriend, Kathy Lynn Smeltzer; nephews, Weston Whitlow and Charlie Whitlow.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Gary Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carroll Cruisers 235 West Stuart Drive, Hillsville, VA 24343. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
