Gregory Van Parries, 66 of Cana, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at his home. Mr. Parries was born in Mt. Airy, NC to the late Joe Bill and Lucy Surratt Parries. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Amy Ballard and a step-grandson, Tyler Hiatt.

Survivors include his wife, Marguerite Parries; son and daughter-in-law, Boe Hunter Parries and Lenora; step-daughter, Laura Brown; step-son, Michael Hiatt; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Jean Parries; granddaughters, Syrie and Lacie; grandsons, Brandon Hill and Joseph Boyles; three great-grandchildren; and many GOOD friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Hope Community Church in Cana, Virginia from 1:00 until 3:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
