Gracie Alderman Bolt, 98 of Willis, passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at New River Valley Medical Center. Mrs. Bolt was preceded in death by her husband Theodore Bolt and grandson Kenny Joel Dalton. She is survived by her children & their spouses S.G. & Pauline Bolt of Willis, Virginia Sowder of Dugspur, Lloyd & Betty Bolt of Laurel Fork, Barbara & Bobby Collier of Christiansburg, and Brenda & Kenny Dalton of Willis; siblings Delmer Alderman of Hillsville, Pauline Turner of Fieldale, Buel Alderman of Meadows of Dan, and Lorine Goad of Dugspur; twenty grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; fourteen great-great grandchildren; special cousin Danny Webb; and special caregivers the staff of Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows and the Progressive Care Unit at New River Valley Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Dewey Weaver and Rev. Howard Nester officiating and closing prayer by Rev. S.G. Bolt. Burial will follow in the Webb Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 23, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
