Goldie Ollie Mae Bowman, 91, of Laurel Fork passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Leslie Bowman; son Danny E. Bowman; parents, Albert Sylvester and Cindy Brown Lankford; grandson, Sterlin Bowman; infant son, Michael Bowman; infant great grandson, Austin Cook; infant granddaughters, Kathy Goins, and Donna Dalton; daughter-in-law, Mildred Bowman. Survivors include her three sons and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Lori Bowman, Kenneth Bowman, and Dewey Bowman; five daughters and sons-in-laws, Brenda and Tommy Goins, Eloise and Barry Burnette, Delores and Carl Clontz, Jane and Donnie Dalton, and Patty and Bill Alderman; sister, Kathleen Kelly; Twenty Three Grandchildren, Forty Great Grandchildren, and Twenty six great-great grandchildren; three special care givers, Kim Burnette, Lalken Burnette, and Kathy Bowman. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Rome Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Terry McMillian, Pastor Bradly Bowman, and Pastor Chris Burnett officiating. Burial will follow in Rome Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 4, 2015 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Rome Missionary Baptist Church. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Bowman family.
