Glenn Guy Burnett, 61, of Wytheville passed away on Friday, March 31, 2006 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his father Charles and his mother Bertie.

He is survived by his companion Amanda Viars, and her children, Makynzee Viars and Gavyn Viars; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca & Steve Terry of Blue Ridge and Debra Lynn & Stanley Blevins of Moneta; one son and daughter-in-law, Glenn G. Jr. & Christy Burnett of Woodlawn; two brothers, Gene Ray Burnett, and William Douglas Burnett, both of Woodlawn; five grandchildren, Ashley Blevins, Jessica Blevins, Blair Blevins, Lance Calvin Burnett, and Olivia Terry. He is also survived by a special friend, Tommy Mabe.

Services will be on Monday April 3, 2006 at 1:00PM at the Vaughan Guynn McGrady Chapel with the Rev. Cass Horton and the Rev. Gerald Humphrey officiating. Burial will follow in the Melton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday April 2, 2006 at the funeral home.
