Glendon Nester Webb, 81, of Hillsville, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. Mrs. Webb was born in Carroll County to the late Commodore and Eva Nester. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Webb; sister, Glorene Cole; and brothers, Delvis Nester and Orlus Nester. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and David Semones of Dugspur; sons and daughters-in-law, Marlin and Cindy Webb of Woodlawn and Jerry Webb and Michelle Burnett of Hillsville; twelve grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 3:00 PM with Rev. Ben Behrendt officiating. Burial will follow in the Nester Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 until 3:00 PM prior to the funeral service.
