Glendi Burnett, 87, of Hillsville passed away on Monday, July 27, 2015 at Golden Living Blue Ridge in Galax. Mr. Burnett was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Burnett; parents, Dexter and Sarah Elizabeth Wilson Burnett; brother, Clarence Burnett; sister, Ila Tate. Survivors include his children and spouses, Kenneth and Barbara Burnette of Galax, Donald Burnette of Hillsville, Betty and Stacy Whisenhunt of Galax, and Bonnie Phillips of Hillsville; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Skyview Baptist Church with Rev. Wendell Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Webb-Skyview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Skyview Baptist Church on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Burnett family.
