Glen Goad, 78 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at his home. Mr. Goad was born in Carroll County to the late Emmett and Delma Alene Hanks Goad.

Survivors include his wife, Dian Goad of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Danny Pickett of Hillsville and Vickie and Jody Lineberry of Woodlawn; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Pam Huff of Woodlawn; 2 granddaughters, Jacey Lineberry and Ava Lineberry; two grandsons; three great grandchildren; step granddaughter and spouse, Kecia and Timmy Delp; four step great grandchildren, Harli Delp, Kadon Delp, Brody Delp, and Kain Delp; brother and sister-in-law, Verlin and Frances Goad of Woodlawn; and sisters and brothers-in-law Hattie and Morgan Padgett of Woodlawn and Delma and Henry Edwards of South Carolina.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 12:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Pickett and Pastor Jeremy Hendrick officiating. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
