Ghiles Truman Surratt, 73, of Radford, VA went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 14, 2006 in Roanoke, VA. He is survived by his wife, Jewell Surratt of the home, a daughter and son-in-law, Tammy & Terry Kemp of Roanoke; four sisters & a brother-in-law, Laura Halsey of Wytheville, Emily Ogle and Leona Reese, both of Salem, VA, Marie & Hermis McGee of Danville, VA; and two grandchildren, Zachary & Hannah Kemp.

Services will be held on Monday, July 17, 2006 at 2:00 PM at the Shorts Creek Church of God, with the Reverends Arthur Harris, Howard Riley, and James Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the Myers Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 16, 2006 from 6 to 8 PM at the Shorts Creek Church of God. Arrangements by Vaughan Guynn McGrady Chapel.
