Geraldine Gravley Henley, 80, of Dugspur passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Select Specialty Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harrison and Ethel Woods Gravley, son, William Jerry Henley (Bill); granddaughters, Rena Grimes, and Dawn Humphrey; grandsons, Eric Grimes, and Kevin Owens; siblings and spouse, Leonard and Zelda Gravley, Beulah and Tommy Johnson, and Landon and Geneva Gravley; brothers and sister-in-law, Bobby and Cloatine Henley, and Edward Henley;Brother-in-law; E.J. Ayers; five nieces and nephews. Survivors include her husband, Charles K. Henley of the home; two daughters and sons-in-laws, Wanda and Wade Humphrey of Hillsville, and Charlotte and Larry Owens of Rienzi, Mississippi; sister, Alene Ayers; sister-in-law, Imogene Henley; six grandchildren and spouses, Gerald and Amanda Humphrey, Carrie and Sean Ford, Gary and Crystal Grimes, Penny and Nelson Porter, Faith Henley Shumate, and Christie Owens; twelve great grandchildren, Bryson Grimes, Kaydie Grimes, Mariah Grimes, Ethan Grimes, Hunter Porter, Leah Porter,Conner Humphrey, Collin Humphrey, Brittany Owens, Taylor Owens, and Jayden Owens; thirteen nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Shiloh United Methodist Church. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral service. Pastor Gerald Humphrey and Pastor Stephen Puckett will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Henley family.
