Gerald Wayne Bowman, 71, of Fancy Gap lost his battle with lung cancer on Friday, April 28, 2017 while in the loving care of family and the Woltz Hospice House. He was preceded in death by his twin sons; mother Dell B.Cassell; brother, Wyatt "Mac" Bowman.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years Ruth R. Bowman; son Reggie W. Bowman, 43; daughter, Nikki A.B. Hayden, 39; son-in-law, David M. Hayden; granddaughters, Makynzie Hayden, 15, Sarah Hayden, 19, and Kelsey Hayden, 23; great granddaughter, Aurora Hayden, 3; brother, Warren P. Bowman; adopted daughter, Tracy Conklin; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was full of life, love, laughter, and BS. He will be missed by many.
