Georgia A. Bowman, 84 of Laurel Fork, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Trinity Mission of Hillsville. Mrs. Bowman was born in Carroll County to the late Noah and Alice Tobler Largen. In addition to her parents, Georgia was also preceded in death by a grandson Sterling Bowman. She is survived by her husband Mason Bowman of the home; daughters and sons-in-law Mildred and Danny Bowman of Laurel Fork; Bonnie Nester of Falls Church; and Mabel and Bill Tate of Hillsville; four grandchildren and spouses Steven and Tammy Bowman, Mark Nester, Kevin and Sherry Tate, and Keisha and Mike Dalton; and five great grandchildren Daniel Bowman, Meagan Tate, Morgan Tate, William Dalton, and Wyatt Dalton.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 1, 2010 at 12:00 noon at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Neil Eidson and Elder Gleason Worrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Worrell Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, October 31, 2010 from 4:00 PM until. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
