George Victor Reese, 83 of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2007 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mr. Reese was born in Oxford, PA to the late Charles L. & Minnie Reese. He is survived by his wife Mary Lee Reese of the home; son & daughter-in-law William G. & Heather Reese of Jacksonville, FL; and grandchildren Jonathan W. Reese of Wilmington, NC and Kathryn L. Reese of Atlanta, GA.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 7, 2007 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ronnie Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Captain George Quesenberry Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115. The family will receive friends on Thursday night from 6:00 until 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
