Geneva Vass Webb, 82, of Hillsville, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Webb was born in Carroll County to the late Rufus and Laura Nester Vass. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Custis "Cuggy" Webb and brothers Hassell Vass and Rhudy Vass. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Judy and Jerry Vass of Hillsville; grandson and spouse Kris and Paige Vass of Harrisonburg, VA; great grandson Gram Carter Vass; sister-in-law Mava Vass; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:30 PM with Rev. Sandy Hendrick officiating. Burial will follow in the Crooked Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 PM until service time. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
