Geneva Irene Quesenberry, 65, of Hillsville passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Etheleen Melton; brothers, Dyer G. Melton, Harley H. Melton, Kenneth A. Melton, Dale W. Melton, and Carroll Melton. Survivors include her husband, Larry Quesenberry of the home; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Joseph W. and Helen Melton of Hillsville, Virgil R. and Sue Melton of Galax, Herman A. and Shirley Melton of Woodlawn; sisters and brothers-in-laws, Juanita and Freddie Weddle of Galax, Reva and Norman Nester of Hillsville, Marie and Howard Dalton of Galax, Fay and Jerry Snavely of Austinville; sisters-in-laws and spouse, Elaine Krabil of Hillsville, Karen and Rod Semones of Austinville; brothers-in-laws and spouse, James Quesenberry of Fancy Gap, and Jerry and Bonnie Quesenberry of Atkins. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 11:00 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Elder Tim McGrady and Elder Dan Puckett officiating. Burial will follow in the Melton Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, March 11, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Quesenberry family.
