Gene Paul Myers 82, of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away on Friday March 15, 2024 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Myers; parents, Louis C. and Mollie F. Myers; six sisters.

Survivors include his children and spouses, Norma Myers of Woodlawn, VA, Melissa and Danny Edwards of Siloam, NC, and Richard and Pam Myers of Hillsville, VA; grandchildren and spouses, Andrea and Joe Kleinke-Martin of Check, VA, Sarah Edwards of Siloam, NC, Adam and Dani Edwards of Mount Airy, NC, and Travis and Amber Myers of Fries, VA; great-grandchildren, Eres  Kleinke-Martin, Dahlia Kleinke-Martin, Benson Edwards, Jordyn Edwards, Braelynn Myers, and Bowen Myers; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Carole Myers of Troutville, VA.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Felts Cemetery in Galax, Virginia. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A guestbook is available on-line by visiting www.vaughanguynnandmcgrady.com.
