Gary Dale Semones, 40, of Hillsville passed away on December 24, 2008 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia. He is survived by his parents, Creed and Ruth Semones; brother & sister-in-law Kevin & Becky Semones; niece Megan Crawford; nephew Noah Crawford; special care givers Nevada Martin & Wilma Vaughan; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel. Elder Ronald Bowman and Elder Edward Bowman will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Semones cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 27, 2008 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
