Gary Dwayne Hill, 49, of Hillsville passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Damon and Nola Belle Martin Hill.

He is survived by his step-mother, Beulah Hill of Hillsville; two sisters and brother in-law, Sue Hill of Roanoke, and Tina and Michael Nowlin of Salem; nephew, Austin Nowlin. Several aunts and uncles also survive.

A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 4:00 PM at Monta Vista Memory Gardens in Galax, with the Rev. Wendell Horton officiating with burial to follow the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 from 3:00 to 3:30 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
