Gary Wade Gravley, 59, of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at Duke University Medical Center. Mr. Gravley was preceded in death by his father Barney (Spud) Gravley, brother Donald Gravley and nephews Terry Gravley and Allen Rambo. He is survived by his wife Daisy Gallimore Gravley of the home; daughters & son-in-law Tonya & Justin Pullen of Johnson City, TN and Marlana G. Felts of Hillsville; sons & daughters-in-law Brian & Dawn Gravley of Woodlawn and Randall & Deborah Stone of Hillsville; mother Hettie Gravley of Hillsville; sisters Rebecca Rambo and Alice Bryant both of Salem; five grandchildren Dylan Felts, Makayla Felts, Dollie Gravley, Danni Gravley and Elizabeth Gravley; several nieces and nephews; and special friends Dallas Brendle, Dickie Jennelle, Tracy Caudill and Brent Harrison.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Hillsville Christian Church with Dr . John Dunstan and Pastor Chip Neely officiating. Burial will follow in the Dalton Hill Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Friday, August 22, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
