Gary Jewel (Gator) King, 63 of Woodlawn, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at his home. Mr. King was born in Galax, Virginia to the late Edward Jewel and Elizabeth Padgett King. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Larry King and Barry King.

Survivors include his sons, Josh King and Travis King, sisters, Joyce Jones and Joy Creed; grandchildren, Cory King, Caylee King, and Carson King; special friend, Gina Largen; and his dog Pete.

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Monta Vista Memory Gardens at 1:00 PM with Pastor Gary Horton and Pastor Brent Carrick. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
