Obituary

August 23, 2018 Garnett Junior Lineberry, 84, of Woodlawn, Virginia, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Mary Ruth Robinson Lineberry of 66 years.

Born April 7, 1934 in Woodlawn, Virginia, he was a son of the late Garnett Zachariah Lineberry and Golda Rebecca Melton Lineberry.

Junior was truly amazing in every aspect of life. He was a dedicated man that served the Lord as a Deacon at Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church, was a licensed contractor and brick mason, and an avid farmer who loved his cattle and garden. Not only was Junior devoted to his family, he was also loyal to volunteering at The Senior Citizens Center and within the local community. Junior was a true southern gentleman that believed in and loved Jesus Christ above all else, loved his family, and the value of a hard days work.

In addition to his wife, Mary, he is survived by his five children and their spouses, Katherine Brown, David and Kathy Lineberry, Sandra Hanes, Connie Lamb and Jeff Poe, Cindy and Mike Patrick; His sisters and brother-in-law, Celene Bolen, Ila Marshall, Florida Mae Lundy, and Faye and Rennie Sullivan; His brother and sister-in-law Joe and Wanda Lineberry; His eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Garnett and Golda Lineberry, his siblings Elizabeth Harmon, Haywood Lineberry, Jesse Lineberry, and Janice Madlene Underwood.
