Garnett Wayne Alley, 74 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at his home. Mr. Alley was born in Carroll County to the late Garnett Claude and Ilene Crowder Alley.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma S. Alley; step-daughter, Tammy Felts; step-son, Melvin Thomas, Jr.; siblings, Lee and Karen Alley, Luther Alley, and Judy and Gerald Anders; nieces and nephews, Davalon Alley (Traci), Melissa Parks (Danny), Shanna Alley, and Sierra Alley; great-nephew and great-nieces, Jena Alley, Zac Alley, and Lauren Alley; step-grandchildren, Aaron Felts (Kimberly), Stacy Felts, Patrick Clark, and Jennifer Myres; and several step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Wendell Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Pickett Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
